Free Weed for Veterans Event Held in North Fresno

U.S. military veterans suffering from PTSD and other ailments received free medical cannabis Sunday at a North Fresno cannabis dispensary. The event was held by Weed for Warriors, which partners with cannabis shops to provide complementary cannabis to veterans in need.

This was the first time Weed for Warriors was able to hold an event in Fresno.

“It feels great. It's a blessing. I used to have to drive all the way to Modesto for events like this, and finally, it's like seven minutes away from me now,” veteran Stephen Cono told ABC 30.
