Three Arrested, Hundreds of Pounds of Products Seized in San Diego Marijuana Raid

Three people were arrested and hundreds of pounds of cannabis products seized during a raid at an unlicensed pot shop in San Diego’s North County last week.

The operation was carried out by a SWAT team with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

“The warrant (stemmed from) an investigation by the Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team … and the Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation Crime Suppression Team in connection with two shooting incidents at the location that happened in January and October of last year,” an SDSD sergeant said.

According to City News Service, deputies confiscated:

-117 pounds of marijuana

-528 pounds of cannabis-infused products

-250 THC-infused drinks

-3 firearms and a ballistic vest

-$24,155 in cash

County code compliance officers also had power to the dispensary shut off after determining that exposed wiring and other hazards posed an extreme safety risk.
