These States Will Get a Chance to Legalize Marijuana on November 3

In 2016, Arizona voters rejected an attempt to legalize recreational marijuana. On Nov 3, they’ll get a second shot. Proposition 207 would allow use and possession of cannabis for those aged 21 and over. It would permit cultivation of up to six plants for personal use. And it would allow those convicted of marijuana-related crimes to petition for expungement. 

Adult use legalization is also up for a vote in Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota. Polls show New Jersey’s measure is highly likely to pass. Here’s what it would mean for the industry

In the south, medical cannabis is up for consideration. Mississippi voters will decide on a set of competing measures that would legalize medical cannabis.
