Everything’s Canceled: Your Guide to Cannabis Events Called Off for COVID-19

States, local governments, and private businesses around the U.S. are cancelling or postponing large and even medium-sized events to prevent exposure and spread of the coronavirus. The weed industry is not being spared.

Leafly.com is keeping tabs on postponed cannabis festivals, policy conferences, and other events where pot consumers or industry officials tend to gather.

Canceled/postponed events in California include the following:

  • Hall of Flowers (Palm Springs)
  • High Times Cannabis Cup (Sacramento)
  • California Cannabis Industry Association Annual Policy Conference (Sacramento)

In addition, Governor Gavin Newsom has ordered the closure of all bars, nightclubs, brew pubs, and wineries in the state. Restaurants have been ordered to limit occupancy to 50% capacity. The directive will undoubtedly impact cannabis lounges in California.
