Riverside County Sees Three Pot Busts in Four Days

The enforcement crackdown in Riverside County continues in earnest.

Three raids on illegal marijuana grows were just conducted by Riverside County Sheriff's officials over a period of four days. The busts occurred on Friday, Saturday, and Monday.

Between all three raids, authorities seized 3,312 plants and 530 pounds of processed weed. Four people were arrested Friday and one more on Monday.

Since electing a new sheriff in November, Riverside County has become laser-focused on stamping out illicit cultivation. Under Sheriff Chad Bianco’s leadership, the department has pursued a marijuana enforcement blitz, raiding grows in the Anza Valley and confiscating tons of illegally grown plants.
