Medical Marijuana Delivery Coming to Pleasant Hill

The Pleasant Hill City Council approved an ordinance Monday that will ban all commercial marijuana businesses, while allowing a maximum of two medical delivery services. The vote was unanimous.

Pleasant Hill’s marijuana ordinance prohibits all other types of cannabis-related activity, whether for recreational or medical purposes (e.g. manufacturing, cultivation, and processing). Delivery businesses must also be kept further than 600 feet from schools, daycares, and youth centers.

The new ordinance goes into effect in 30 days.
