Here Are the Two Weed Dispensaries That Will Operate in Morro Bay

Morro Bay has selected the two cannabis retailers that will be allowed to operate within city limits under the terms of a 2017 ordinance. Provided they pass their background checks, the dual spots will be awarded to Natural Healing Center and Perfect Union, the Paso Robles Daily News reports.

“The City is moving forward with Natural Healing Center and Perfect Union, in part, because they have demonstrated success operating cannabis retail businesses elsewhere in California, but also because of their top-notch safety plans, community fit and good neighbor practices,” said Morro Bay City Manager Scott Collins.  “We look forward to working closely with them to ensure their businesses integrate successfully with the Morro Bay community and are operated in a manner that is compliant with state and local regulations.”

Natural Healing Center is based out of Grover Beach. It was named Best Marijuana Dispensary and Best New Business by The New Times 2019 Best of SLO reader poll, according to its website

Perfect Union has locations in Stockton, Sacramento, and Marysville.

The dispensaries were among six whose applications were reviewed by a city subcommittee comprised of the Chief of Police, Fire Chief, and Finance Director.
