A “Museum of Weed” is Coming to Los Angeles Next Year

It may be a far cry from the LACMA or the Getty, but it’s sure to be a hit with millennials, stoners, and the curious.

Digital marijuana search giant Weedmaps has announced the opening of a new “Museum of Weed” coming to the Los Angeles area sometime in 2019. It is expected to highlight the history of cannabis use, prohibition, and legalization in California, as well as how the cannabis culture has changed over time. The first ever marijuana museum opened to much fanfare in Oakland, California in 2016. An official opening date for the Museum of Weed has not yet been announced.
