Study Highlights Growing Popularity of Vaping, Edibles Among Teens
Smoking joints is becoming so yesterday. When it comes to cannabis consumption, it’s all about eating and vaping these days.
So says a new study of California 10th graders published Friday in the medical journal JAMA Network Open. The researchers found that, among teens who had smoked cannabis, 61.7% has also tried combustible, vaporized, or edible cannabis. 8.2% had used all three.
While smoking is still the most common form of pot use, the study highlights the growing prevalence of alternative methods of cannabis consumption, particularly among young adults and teens.
