San Bernardino to Discuss Pot Taxes

The San Bernardino City Council will decide how to tax cannabis sales at its meeting today.

City leaders approved a series of ordinances governing cannabis activities in March. Among these was MC-1464 which allowed up to 17 licensed cannabis businesses citywide. The taxation issue, however, was left to a later date.

Today’s discussions come several months after a court invalidated a 2016 voter-approved ballot measure regulating marijuana dispensaries in the city.
