Here Are the Next 15 States Likely to Legalize Pot

2016 was a whirlwind year for marijuana. The precursor was 2012 when Colorado and Washington legalized adult use. But the real flurry came last November when 8 out of 9 states passed pro-marijuana initiatives. That included four states legalizing recreational pot.

So who’s next?

24/7 Wall St. thinks it has an idea. Based on existing laws, legislative processes, and the number of people who say they smoke weed in any given state, the newspaper has identified 15 places where it believes pot will soon be legal.
