Do You Use Cannabis Products on Your Pets? If So, U.C. Davis Wants to Hear From You.

The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is trying to learn more about the medicinal effects of cannabis on our ailing four-legged friends.

Researchers at the university have launched a survey of pet owners who use CBD oil and other cannabis-derived products to treat issues like anxiety, arthritis, and seizures in Muffy and Fido.

“Unfortunately we don’t have a lot of research that has been published on the doses that are appropriate in animals,” said Dr. Jamie Peyton of UC Davis.

The solution? He wants pet owners to chime in anonymously to relay their own experiences.

The researchers say they have heard from about 400 pet owners so far.
