Cupertino Extends Pot Moratorium… Again

Cupertino has extended its marijuana ban for another year. That goes for all pot: recreational, medical; dispensaries and grows; brick-and-mortar plus delivery.

This is the second time Cupertino has extended the moratorium in Prop. 64’s wake. It passed the first one in October of last year. A month later, it extended it for 10 months and 15 days.

The city says it needs more time to assess the situation, develop rules and regulations, and determine its own responsibilities during the licensing process.
