CCIA Releases Summary of Proposed Trailer Bill Language

The California Cannabis Industry Association has released a matrix for the Summary of Proposed Trailer Bill Usage and their positions.

On the issue of medical ID cards, the CCIA supports shifting the state medical ID card program responsibility to counties. Additionally, they support shifting the burden of proof of local licensure to local governments and the Bureau of Cannabis Control (Bureau) with some exceptions. CCIA also supports streamlining the CEQA process as well as maintaining the open distribution model as permitted in AUMA, for both recreational and medical marijuana.

You can view the matrix in its entirety here.
